We begin the journey before dawn, heading up to Bica da Cana, a viewpoint at over 1,500 meters above sea level. Arrive at the top in time to witness the sunrise, as the first rays of light illuminate the mountains and valleys, offering a stunning natural spectacle with views that stretch all the way to the ocean. After sunrise, we continue to the Levada do Alecrim, one of the most beautiful levadas in Madeira. This easy-access, peaceful trail takes you through lush, breathtaking landscapes, leading to Lagoa Dona Beja, where you can relax and, for the more adventurous, even take a refreshing swim.
